Steering wheel alignment after TSB Work

The problem was slightly better after they "looked at it" again, and even better with new S-02's mounted a few days later, so I'm tempted to leave well enough alone. To top it off, they did the seatbelt recall and scratched the plastic rollbar cover pretty good. I think I'm going back for that.

Once again, I'm convinced that all it takes to succeed in this world is to just not screw up more than the next guy.

True. I am getting an allignment done two Monday from now.

Bull! no reason why they can't get it perfect. They are just being sloppy. It has happened to me a couple of times, but when I mentioned it to the dealer he promptly rectified the problem with apologies. And BTW, it's a 2 minute job. Or at least it was in my case.

I had the same problem after my TSB. I took it back, and they got it close, but not perfect.

I just put new S02's on the back and had the car alligned. The steering wheel is now straight.

It sounds like the dealerships may be skipping the allignment step in the TSB.

I got mine in the shop now and I was specific to say it MAY need an alighnment after the work.
