I've tried a search and read a couple of references to a steering wheel height shim mod but can't find anything specific. I would love to raise the wheel a little. Is it possible? Anyone do this?

Yes, this is possible.

You need to take the steering column shroud off.

There's a big bolt that holds the column in place. Placing washers on this bolt between the steering column and the supports can raise the steering wheel higher.

I don't have more specific details. Foe, a member from Japan, has done this mod. Do a search for Foe Home in Google and you will find his website. He has pictures but it's all in Japanese.

I may be performing this mod over the winter. If I do, I will take pics of the procedure.
