stereo changes for 2002
I am new to this forum. With all of your previous posts I was able to negotiate a new 2002 Spa Yellow S2000 from my local dealer at MSRP. I will have to wait unti November for delivery.
Does anyone know of the expected changes for the stereo system this year? I am aware of the tweeters but is the head unit and speakers expected to remain the same?

As soon as I get my helm I'll know
Dash controls look the same. I'm ASSUMING they just added a cheap (stock speaker aways are) tweeter with an inline crossover.
i'm curious if this is standard or an option. If its standard then the door linings most likely will have to be replaced to have them in our um, old s2000s

What dealer did you order from? The reason I am asking is because I am in Orlando and placed an order for a yellow 2002 about two weeks ago from Southeastern Honda in Palm Bay. I had originally put a deposit on a yellow 2001 with a dealer here in Orlando two months ago. After pulling me along for 8 weeks he finally said the car was not coming because it had been damaged.
So I did a search for a yellow 2002 and Southeastern said they would have one in the first week in October, so I placed a deposit on the car. I am starting to think it will be a little later than that. When does your car arrive?

From what I've read/heard, they said the radio is supposed to be more powerful than the one the current S2000's have, but still, it'll be weak just like any Honda radio. I would go and replace the head unit, I wish I could but I'm saving up the money right now. Plus I'm in school, so I can't drive it that much anyways...
