Stereo Code
Anyone else place thier stereo code in a place so secure that they can't find it themselves?
I bought it used, the local dealer sent me to the original dealer who informed me that I must remove the stereo
and bring it into the dealership along with proof of ownership.
Is this standard procedure? Back to tearin' this place apart..It's around here somewhere..

They need the serial number on the unit to get the code. Any Honda dealer should be able to get it for you. And Yes it does sound about right, but if you drove in with the car I am sure proof is less of a consern.
The radio is easy to remove. Here is a guide http://www.lucidautomotive.com/guides/radio/
