Default Stereo ErrorE?

I came out to my car after work and my baby was dead (left the lights on , still not used to the having to turn them off seperately ) and then we jumped my car and i started home...I was on the phone for a while so i didnt even notice my radio wasnt on, when i got off i noticed it was really quiet so i went to turn the radio on and it said "Code" and was waiting a 5 or 6 digit input and each time i put one in it gave me a different Err "a number" until after like 4 times it just says "ErrE" on it and i turned it off and turned it on (The radio alone first then the entire car) can anyone help me here?

(oh yeh i also noticed that somehow my cd had halfway ejected with the Radio door shut) would this be cause i lost power and had to jump the car? Its all just really strange to me

Thanks in advance.

Ps: while I have someone looking at a thread...can someone pm me to this deal with the "secret glove box" maybe im not looking hardenough or maybe ive found it and just dont know it

You get 3 chances to put in the right code. I f not you have to pull the fuse or battery again to reset the radio. Your radio code should be in your glove box. If not call the dealer that sold you the car, they should keep it in there computer. If that dosent work you have to bring your car to Honda so they can pull your radio and use the number behind it to find the code.

You'll have to go to honda. I had the same problem. If you can, pull out the radio and look on the back of it. You'll see a serial number that honda needs. I've heard stories on this board, where honda charged to pull out the radio and look. When I went to honda, I found the serial number in the center compartment between the drivers and passengers seats. So look there first. They'll look up the serial and give you the code. It was free for me.....

Thats not it, it should be 5 numbers. Was it on a card? There should have been a sticker on the cars, sometime the dealer forgets to put it on. It might in a ziploc bag in your console.

If you bought it new, the dealer should have a copy of the radio code.
