STI or S2k
Hey guys I am in the market for a new car and is considering a 06 WRX STI or 04 + S2k. Just want to get you guys thoughts on this, and this will be my only car so it will be driven daily. I am single so I am ok w/ just a 2 seaters for now. I been in both cars and S2k just seem like a nicer place to be in. STI is faster but very harsh, it is loader on the highway and pretty heavy clutch. Thats all I got so far, any info would help. Thank You.
I used to have an RS before i got the S2000. I realize its a lot more underpowered then the STi but i gotta say that RWD and AWD are very different drives. I think its more of a you gotta test drive to find out which you would like.
I would suggest STi because it would be a daily driver. S2k's lack of space can sometimes be a pain. But, it all comes down to preference because im sure they are very different cars.

I currently have an '06 WRX with Cobb stage 2, and a bunch of suspension mods. Very fun to drive and its very torquey, but it is a sedan and definitley not a sports car.
I'm trying to unload the subaru now so I can start shopping for an S2000.

It's like this: are you a driver or do you just like the idea of a fast car? If you're a driver then the S2000 will reward you. If you just want to drive around and occasionally put the hurt on traffic from a stoplight then the STI will be fine.
In stock form the handling of the STI is poor. It's pushy and soft. It doesn't feel soft because of the highspeed damping in the shocks but the body roll is what I'm talking about. The S2000 is balanced and poised but that balance can bite you if you are inexperienced and are pushing the envelope.
Eh, what ever. You decide, it's your car.
