STI or S2k
After having my S for amost 2years and done things here and there to it. It MIGHT be time for me to let her go and im thinking of the STI. Why?I need something more with more room and practicle for my commute/DD. BUT, down the line i expect myself to get another S hopfully.
To the OP, This question came up last year(?) and I happen to have made my comments on both of these cars that you are looking into. Search for my name and I think you'll find my rather lengthy comments on my two cars.

PS, the clutch isn't bad at all, it'll only take a couple stop and gos to get used to it. In fact the more you drive it the more you appreciate the feel. At times, I feel the s2k could use a higher pressure plate. The change of plug on the STI is gonna be a pain and I get around 20-21mpg on avg to aggressive driving on my 93map. Insurance is about the same. If I interpretted your sentence correctly, the "loudness" that you are referring to, stems from the stock and very heavy bridgestones. I daily drive both, pending upon seasons.

Off the line or top-end? Do you know how to drive a RWD car well? If so its ALOT more fun than any AWD ever will be. STIs are not that great, I raced one the first night I had my car off a roll and pulled on it. Both were bone-stock.
