Hi. I just got my S2000 on Sunday and today I just reached 600 miles. I was wondering if anybody else noticed a difference between the sound of the exhaust at 0 miles (or whenever you bought it new) and after putting a few hundred miles on it. I noticed that the sound at idle seemed to be louder and deeper. Has anybody else noticed this?

 

Your engine is breaking in...that means that all the parts are still meshing, the exhaust and some engine parts are working in...and over the next several thousand miles it will continue to produce more power.....

 

Maybe it's from all the VTEC'ing you are doing after the 600 mile mark . -this will cause louder exhaust. But seriously, I can't tell mine is getting any louder.
