in the first picture one sees 2 pipes (a inside pipe and a outside pipe), I cut the inside pipe (the 5 parts (right)on the 3. pic)

Very interesting. I would not have thought to split the header looking for restrictions, but it does appear that you found that the double wall construction leaves a few rough edges. It seems that is was a lot of work so it will be interesting to see if there is much pay off. I can believe that you are the only one in the world to perform this operation.
