Resurection ON: Does any one know if the TI knob has a clearcoat?

I replaced my stock (08) knob with a CR knob... only 50 or so bucks.. it looks great, feels great (a bit warm on a hot day, no big deal) and is a lot less pricey than some of the other after market units...

The OEM Ti does not have a clearcoat.
