Even in Southern California, you should be able to get below MSRP.

Which dealer is this Bernie? I'm looking for a 2001 White/Red in the Boston area for MSRP or less.

In Vancouver B.C. Canada. I was offered at Honda of Richmond a brand new 01 in silver/black or silver/red , my choice, at $ 47 500. PDI & freight included. Our MRSP is $48 800. I am positive that if I was ready to by the car then He would have taken $47 000. Both car were new with less than 10 Km on them.
Yeti.

P:S: Canadian dealer cost is: $43 920 + $800 freight/PDI

live and learn.
What is wrong with the silver/red? Personal choice or is there a real problem?

Hey kids....I've said it many times MSRP means nothing unless your paying cash, which most here don't. Dealer's three ways to make money:
1) New car
2) Trade in
3) Financing

By the way the dealers make the least on number one above.

I posted on this site that the dealer here has a Red non demo with no options for MSRP + destination charges. The dealers in Charlotte only 25 mi north have 39000 on theirs with no options.

Had the USED dealer "offer" me a deal on one with 10K miles of 35500 . I informed him that I got mine new in Rock Hill with all options for 34500

No matter what a dealer doesn't lose any money on a car even if they sell it to you under invoice..Of course the S2000 is the biggest money maker for a Honda dealer..
