Default Strange vibration/noises and pulling

Ok, as I near redline, say 7-9k I get a vibration.. I can feel it in my seat, I can feel it on the gas pedal, you can feel it just touching the door panel.. the car has to be in gear though it doenst happen just reving the engine..

Now upon deacceleration, in the lower rpm range you can hear a quiet but distinct grinding noise, like that of a wheel bearing on its way out the door.. again, only in gear, doesnt matter if im turning or not the sound is always there...

Also, the car pulls to the right under throttle, and comes back to the left when you lift off the gas.. its not the front wheels because you have to countersteer to avoid it..

Could it be the tranny responsible? the rear end? or perhaps I just need an alignment?

Have you considered possibly a wheel balance?

Check your tire pressure in regards to the pulling. I feel extremely confident you will discover one or the other rear tires is rather low in air pressure. I believe you'll find that it is the passenger rear given what you're describing.

Have you had the Clutch Decel TSB performed on this car? What you describe regarding decel grinding sounds like that TSB should fix it. I had mine done many moons ago (and my own service tech writer thought he had a semi-truck bearing down on him when I had him take a listen to my decel issue ). If you are unfamiliar with that TSB, a quick search [should] assist you since there has been tons of threads on that topic here.

Good luck.

Honda has replaced the clutch and a snychro or two I believe, and maybe the shift fork.. it was a while ago.. however when they did do it.. it took them 4 tear downs to get it back together the right way.. I believe my S was the first one they worked on.. I didnt have my car for 4 weeks out of the already short summer up here in buffalo ny..

Could they have screwed something up?

Well i've had an alignment and tires checked and i still pull to the right under acceleration. I do think my right rear wheel bearing is just about done though.
