I hope you're talking about doing this while the car is in storage only, not when you'll be driving it. It seems obvious to me but just checking.

No, it's ok to check. Remember the doosh with the m3 that tried this while driving and the sock got sucked into the engine and fubar'd the whole thing?

Lol

You'd be surprised.

I started using electronic pest repellers a couple of years ago. I back them up with baited traps. I haven't caught anything in the traps since I started using them.

I've seen a picture of someone's intake w/ a dead rat inside.

Those little 'stards got into my heater core and blower fan in my prelude, made a nest...next time I turned it on I heard squeaking and tumbling. When I opened it up my blower basket was full of trash and dead baby mice...pretty nasty!

Use 0000 (ultra fine), and it won't be too bad.

My experience is that rodents like rags. Great nesting material. I place mothballs in the airbox for storage and have never had a rodent problem. I also put mothballs in a dish on the passenger floor mat and another in the trunk. Car reaks in the spring, but it is a good excuse for top down driving!
Damn, your car must reek. Of course, if you're into picking up 80 year-old women, then maybe you're on to something
