Default Stupid Question Warning


These hybrids sparked a thought. Could an electric motor be used to spool a supercharger at low rpm and transition to drive pulley as rpms go higher?

If the search is working, you can find at least one thread of a real product like this that has been advertised. Not quite like you suggest but one that's driven by an electric motor all the time...
