OK Time for my "Shot down in flames story" My wife and I stopped for coffee one Sunday and a minivan with two moms and about 6 kids pulled in. The girls started gushing over the car and telling the kids, "Look at this beautiful car, wow" I took off my hat because my head was starting to swell when a little 6 year old walked up to the car, looked at his mom and sid, "Ma, there is OLD people driving that car. They are not supposed to do that" Oh well, back to earth, out of the mouths of babes.

I'm looking forward to you demonstrating that fine maneuver at the West L.A. meet next Saturday, Richard!

Classic move.

I did that once coming out of work (you know you just gotta get away fast). I know that "brick wall" feeling - the first thing you think is WTF?!?! I don't think anyone saw and I did keep my sunglasses on

Hey Rich, you just killed me . Thanks for the memories...when I was young and single, my buddy and I were heading into the mall. This nice tight blonde is checking us out so my friend, who is driving, starts waving franticly just as we headed into the underground parking garage. The metallic sound we shortly heard were two mountain bikes being swiftly peeled from the Yakima roof rack. Her and her friend just about dropped to their knees laughing. As we were regaining our composure and our bikes, the blonde runs over and hands me a piece of paper with her number on it....as she was walking away she says "hey guys nice bikes".....bwahaha.

HMMMMM.... Your car hit the limiter when the engine was cold? Thats strange. One time when I floored my car in first gear when the engine was cold, it went past 6,000 rpm, it just didn't go into VTEC. Anybody else experience the same thing?

The other day at work I was leaving my store (Snowboard / Skateboard / Wakeboard shop) to go get lunch just as the CanPar (like UPS) van pulled up. The driver starts in with the 'nice car' - 'wow business must be good' stuff as he is backing up to drop off to the store next door. Well as I am pulling away I hear this BANG as he backed into the steel roof support post as he was watching me leave. Need less to say he was still there when I got back - talking to the owner of the next door shop. He wouldn't even look at me as I walked by.
