The stupid stunt that I will never pull again
I'm pretty sure the rev limiter for a cold engine is around 7500 RPM. I should know, I hit it a few times early on.

[B]HMMMMM.... Your car hit the limiter when the engine was cold? Thats strange. One time when I floored my car in first gear when the engine was cold, it went past 6,000 rpm, it just didn't go into VTEC. Anybody else experience the same thing?

Hehehe...
I did the same thing this morning. I only have about 1000 miles on the car and when I took off this morning the "brick wall effect" scared the hell outta me. The first thought in my head was "Nice going jackass. You just busted your new car". I didn't even need a hot chick, I was embarressed for myself. I'm just glad to hear that my car isn't broken, and that it is smarter than its driver!
