The forum and its participant helped me in my final decision to get an S2K. I was considering a used NSX or a Boxster at the time. I then looked for forums for these cars and found that the S2K owners were more passionate, helpful, and generally knowledgable. Not only that, they all seemed to be more than willing to share their knowledge.

This really made me like the car more. It must be something special to have so many folks willing to spend their free time and effort helping others and generally chatting about their cars. Also at the time, everyone seemed very civil.

I really enjoy all that I have learned and would like to pass it on. It really is invaluable to learn what others have experienced before you throw away $400 bucks on a cold air intake that doesn't really add any horsepower. Or purchase a $800 exhaust system only to find that it's louder but doesn't add much performance. Or how about the time I saved replacing the speakers because of the great advice on the door panel disassembly shared by another S2K owner! This kind of stuff saves countless hours and frustration. I really appreciate that kind of insight. Ask away! I for one will always attempt to answer.

To the moderators:

How about setting up a "Newbie section" on this board?

Good post, Song. I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy inside now...

Like you, I really value the people on the various forums that are all about our cars. It's been a great ride and I love spending time with so many of you guys and gals here. Who would have thunk that a freaking CAR would bring together such a group of people!?

Enjoy the ride!!
