Default Summer price bump

Hello

I was just wondering, I'm looking to buy an S2ki this winter, probably before X-mas. Last year I was planning on doing the same thing and life got in the way so to speak. When I was looking last fall 2004-2005 s2ki were in my price range of 15-16k. Now I'm seeing them in the 17-18k range. Is this just because its summer or have prices started to creep back up? Thanks

Tim

Mostly because it's summer but people are starting to buy "toys" again...somehow they have false hope in the economy I guess.

Yes, prices fluctuate based on demand which is higher in months people can drive with the top down (aside from the die hards who drive top down year round). I have an 05, silver, 88k miles you can have for $16k if you're buying.

Prices on S2000s are insane. At the end of 2008 I got an 04 with 40k for 14k. Now that will get you an 02. I guess summer time/tsunami/out of production causes such a price increase.

No I'm waiting till winter but thanks,

Like I said I hope its the summer price hike. Everything with under 50k miles has jumped to 18-19k price range. I was looking at an 2004 Suzuka Blue in October with 35k miles and I could have had it for 15.5.
