CompuDyne (or Tech? I forget) Is supposed to have an S2K Supercharger ready in December for $4995. I was wondering if anyone had any data on the real ammount of hp this is going to add, and if there is a real potential to smoke the engine? I've heard some big concerns about it damaging the engine.

Maybe you mean Comptech

Also, do a search in this forum with the words super and charger, you'll find a bunch of threads.

That comptech sounds sweet!

Like amartin, I'd like to know if anyone with mechanic knowledge on the board could speculate on any potential damage to the engine using this? What other upgrades would be necessary to beef up the engine for this added power?

Carburised rods, forged pistons, lined cylinder walls, roller rockers are just a few of the things I'd suggest.

Fortunately all the above is standard in our wonderful S.
