I went to the local honda dealer today to set up a payment plan for the s2000 , while we are chatting , I asked him about what kinda modifications people do to a s2000.

He told me one of his friends installed a supercharger and a new exhaust which raised his HP to 420+ and his 0to60 to below 4.5

Does anyone here did a similar modification to their s2000? , if yes , how much did it cost?

many have the comptech or the vortech... regarding the hp figure, that's a bit high, and you most likely will have a VERY hard time getting it to go 4.5 sec, considering you'll have wheel spin both in first, second, and maybe thrid gear...

 

The exhaust might get you 10 (maybe 15) HP, and the supercharger will get you another 120ish HP, but this is at the crank. No simple way other than guesstimating power at the crank, so I hope he wasn't suggesting 420 at the wheels. Most here with the Comptech or Vortech SC are seeing around 320 HP at the wheels. With a smaller pulley you may get 420 HP at the crank without too many issues, but I would want to question him a lot more.
