hahaha...exactly let the battle begin.

I don't feel like typing too much (I'm sure others will) so heres some info in a nut shell.

Turbo
-runs off exhaust gases
-high hp at top end

Superchargers
-run off intake and belt driven
-power there at all times
-extra load on the engine

power is capable out of both (been proven both ways). S2000's seem to respond well to SC's. NOT TO SAY THEY DON'T ON TURBOS!

- I won't say anything further until I get my turbo kit...
- BUT as for now, I was not impressed with a SC on an s2k... took too long to get speed going... 'power there at all times" did not feel like it...

you reach full boost at 3k for turbos
you reach full at 8k for superchargers
turbo has more possiblities.
turbo can give you more results
turbo can your car up faster.
superchargers are more reliable

Comptech and vortec makes superchargers. and both are special in their own ways.

the turbo chargers

If you want power go with turbo if you don't care how long your car lasts.

if you want to last longer like most men do go with a supercharger.

supercharger power output is linear, just like a stock f20c power curve.

I think many people here will be extremely interested to hear of your experiences and opinions on getting a turbo up and running "glitch free". In particular, it would be quite revealing to see if your views on the whole concept will change after you complete the process. This will prove to be a valuable accounting.

I see all the time people who post about how easy, cheap and great a turbo is for an S2000. But very few (if any) actually go out and do it and then come back to tell about the adventure in a truthful and accurate manner. The "pioneers" of turboed S2000s will tell of the frustrations, the hundreds and thousands of extra dollars needed to get the final driveable outcome and the resultant breakages, only to have these experiences disregarded by newcomers. We await your story with great anticipation.
