Well,, Alot of good facts here. If i could foretell the future I would have never done a Turbo S2000. The cost of building 5 engines has broken me..The last set up lasted me 2 weeks. But i beat the new Z06 corvette by 12 car lenghts. What a rush. 1st and 2nd gear break loose very easy. Turbos are very touchy. Do the research..

External wastegate with a 5.5 pound spring.
EMS does have EBC but its not simple to setup from looking at it. I will eventually use the EBC feature.
Chitah is right, its the manifold.

Sorry, simply not true.

This falacy comes from the traditional positive displacement superchargers used on other engines. But both the SCs used on the S2000 are centrifugal and don't develop any power until about 500 revs and only max at 9000.

20 months with a Vortech on a daily driver. Still going strong without any issues.
18 month with an Ultimate Racing turbo on a daily drive. 9 psi and never had a problem. It was still going strong without any issues when I decided to pull the engine and replace it with a built block to run higher boost. Just waiting for my Full Race manifold and GT35R turbo.
