The SS Exhuast is great. Top quality. They have their own facility of making exhaust. Like I said on the previous post, there is almost no one that havn't heard of SS in European car circle. One of the person I met at the track have all the SS stuff on his M3. It is fast and dyno proven. If you are the loud exhuast type, you will not like this exhuast. It doesn't make too much noise. Someone from Europe can varify this for me, I think European is limiting noise that generate from a automobiles. You can get ticketed, if your exhuast is too loud. Since, SS is a Italian company. Their exhuast is a little bit on the quiet side. But to me, as long as they make more power. I am happy with that.

Got email back from Richard Alfaro at Supersprint ((800) 648-7278 ext 10).

They don't have pricing or availability yet for the exhaust. They're estimating early 2001 for it.

No answer to my dyno and specs request.

I used to work for a Honda dealership, the rep that we had was cool and was into cars. He said that the S2000 could benefit greatly from a less restrictive exhaust and intake because the originals are made to quieten the car considerably. As you might have seen in recent magazine articles, the S2000 is quite a loud car at the peak RPM. Having said that, the numbers still look like their reaching on the Superspring exhaust, I will be very interested in seeing the dyno results.

My (very poor) math makes this out to be an increase of over 19 HP and torque of almost 23 ft.-lbs.

Does anyone have any real world data or experience with the product or company? I've contacted supersprint but have not heard back from them.

RT,

You rock. My three favorite cars for 'real' people. An s4, m3, s2k. Damn, how do you decide which keys to grab on your way to work in the morning?

Thinking about selling the M3, it hasn't been as fun to drive since the S2000 arrived.

Dyno testing thus far has shown NO repeatable gains by eliminating the muffling of intake or exhaust noise. The guy is wrong.
