Default Surfboard?!

Okay so it's summer time (at least here in So-Cal) and I'm looking for a way to take my 7'6" longboard to the beach in my S2000.

If anyone out there has found a way of transporting your boards without risking them flying out of the car, help a brotha out!

Wow that's going to be fun. Only thing I can think of is Top down with the nose down in the passenger floor board fin up with bunji cords wrapping under the seat rails and around the fin.

You want a surf board? Get a J's Racing Carbon Fibre wing!

Install a Cusco harness bar and strap the board over it and the windshield.

OT but 7'6" is a longboard? I guess I'm showing my age, when i surfed that'd be a mini.

There was a member on here that custom fabricated a mount for their S. It was really really really nice.

i would say set it on the passenger seat, with a towel coering the areas that touch the interior of the car. then rest the top of the surf board near the roll hoop, and then tie it down with a bunggie cord. ive seen a local guy with a red S that goes surfing with his S.

I've fit my 7'10 in the S before. I didn't dare go on the freeway though.. If you go surfing a lot, get a beater truck, that's what I did.
