Surfboards and S2k's
I've transported my 6'3" fish as well as my 6'6" with no problem in the passenger seat (but not at the same time).
Obviously, you'll need to keep the top down. Just place the board tail down with the fins facing up (or remove the fins andf go fins down). I use a board bag to keep wax from getting all over my seats and I bungee cord the board to the passenger door handle to keep the things from sliding around. But if you've got a 00/01, you could zip out the rear window and run the nose out the window.
Works great and makes the drive to the beach almost as fun as the surfing itself.
Almost.

^If you stick a board on that luggage rack you'll be pulled over in a heartbeat - or some idiot behind you will hit your board at a stop light.
My 6'4 used to fit just fine nose first into the passenger floor. I never tried putting the top up with the board in the car, nor did I try putting the board in the car while the top was up.
