I would like to try to get some stats from/(and for) those owners who have already/(are thinking of) removing the windshield surround black tape from their S2000.
Note:I prefer that only cars with the tape(respond).

Not sure how to vote, don't see my category. You need to add the following to poll [Removed tape with NO problems. Highly Recommended]

I voted "have not removed"... but I recently found out about this (what a shocker, let me tell you!), and am STILL contemplating removing it off of my Yellow. I can't decide!!! Arrgh! I have a feeling that it will look better than I think it will look if I take the tape off.

Anyone have a yellow that has the tape removed? How's it look?

I voted that I didn't remove the tape...didn't have to! Black S2000s don't have the tape to begin with.

2kturkey,

Pink! Is your monitor adjusted, or it could be the long trip to down under causes a color shift. Not sure what "wfor Mary Quant LOL" means. Is it Australian or I'm I missing something?

Is it too late to separate the first category into: "Chose not to remove the tape" and "Didn't remove the tape because I wasn't aware of it".

I'd be interested in knowing how many knew, but chose not to . . .

Well it's not quite pink on my monitor but it isn't red either. Of course I don't know what a red s2k looks like any more......sigh.

Well I have been caught. Honda has sent me a 2003 S4000 for testing. It will be available Sept. 2002 in one color Hot Baby Pink.

4L V 8 with 425hp and 154lb of torque (that will shut the torque critics up)
3 speed auto trans (just shift once and go)
8.1 gl gas tank
8 way power heated vibrating European mad cow leather seats
DVD 5.1 surround sound duel 12" woofers (1 under each seat) 12" LCD display
2" thick shag carpet
3 cup holders
LARGE glove box and trunk expanded to 5.023 cf

With all this price will be $32741 east coast $47741 left coast
