my whole worry is bounciness. scraping is going to happen no matter what.

i dont want to be bouncing all over the place
i had omnipower coilovers o my del sol, and it was STIFF.
I could not live with a 1-1/2 inch drop, given the conditions I have to contend with, and not having gone there I can't offer any solid advice (solid = based on actual experience). At one inch there aren't any handling issues that can't be addressed with alignment, and at least with Eibach Pro Kit springs over stock shocks there is no "bouncing," until you reach the limits of suspension travel (which is of course reduced once the car is lowered).

You will be increasing bump and roll steer, but it isn't the as much of a problem as people who haven't dropped their car would have you believe. I've been autocrossing on a Pro Kit for two years and nobody beats my times unless they are running R compound or racing tires, so either I'm a good enough driver to more than make up for the handling problems caused by the lowering (highly unlikely) or the handling problems aren't as bad as those who havent't tried it like to think. The latter is far more likely.

I have Eibachs and Koni's also. The ride is better than stock and the 1" drop is perfect for me. I just placed these on a week ago so I can say for sure that the ride is smoother than stock.

Even with the 1" drop, you'll need to watch those steep driveways!

I've always gotten good results using Koni shocks.

Did you have the car aligned after the drop? Have you had a chance to track or autocross the car with the new springs and shocks? It would be interesting to know how closely your experiences parallel my own.

No I don't autocross or track and I'm waiting for my new tires/wheels to come before the alignment. (hopefully another two weeks) I love to drive the twisties the more narley the better. After the alignment, I'll be in the hills testing the new goodies.
