Thumbs up Swapping MY02 Instument Panel with a MY04

I'd tried searching and more searching, I couldn't find anything. So any help and knowledge even links is appreciated.

Here's what I want to do. I want to swap the Instument Panel of my '02 with the one from the MY04+ one. I personally like the look better and that maybe the only reason why I would want to do it.

I'm wondering if it's just a plug and play type of mods, or am I required to do other things..

Please fill me in if you have or know how it should be done..
Many thanks in advance..

Should be fine. the cluster does hold the miles though. Not sure if you need to remove the steering wheel to get in/out.

No, you can't swap an MY00-03 with an MY04+. The wiring harnesses are not the same. Honda changed the connectors on the back of the cluster.

Now, I don't know that it will not work if you change the connectors so they fit. But to date, it had not been done.

I'm surprised that I'm the first one to mention the fact that your tach will be 1000rpm short.

I guess it's not going to be done then..
BTW, I didn't mind so much loosing 1000 RPM bar.
Oh well, other mods then..

Thanks guys.

The Japanese my04 s2000 still had the 9k redline with the new style cluster. I don't know how hard it would be to get your hands on one of those.
