2001GSR silver/black- I have only put down the deposit. The trade is on Saturday. If you were willing to buy it in the next 2 days I could probably swing it. I am sure the porsche dealership would be ok with cash.BTW I am about only 10 minutes from ossining in Croton on Hudson. Bare in mind the price I could sell it would have to reflect my lost tax benefit.

The 996 911 is a great ride. As compared to the S2000, definitely more of a GT feel. You can't beat the Porsche bling.

All in all, the S2000 is more visceral and raw which I prefer at this point in my life.

Congratulations and good luck with everything.

Since the buyer pay the sales tax in NY to the DMV when he/she registers the car what does that have to do with your selling price to a private party? You have no responsibility to pay that tax on the sale.
That had better be true or I owe a few states quite a bit of money.

The 993 is closer to the S2000 in terms of handling, unfortunatly they are approaching 6-10 years old. Of course, and don't let this stop you from your 996 purchase, they are still regarded as more reliable than the 99 and 00 996's which are generally referred to by owners and previous owners are years to stay away from.

How much would you be able to sell it for?
