[QUOTE=mog24,Aug 22 2006, 07:54 AM]Ellos my new brothers

Well.... I have always loved the s2k. Most sexiest car ever produced hands down. Butcha know being a new and first time owner of a topless ride I was just wonderin.... Has anyone ever encountered a swarm? Living in socal I have seen nearly 4 within the past year. A super shiny red color doesnt help the situation either I can only imagine how lame the bug issue with you yeller owners out there is. But the question is... If you're stuck in a NON-mobile situation where the swarm is RIGHT THERE, what do you guys think is the best way to react?

Wax the windshield, reduces bug splatter.

Its happened...but

I think it's much easier to deal with in the convertible since you can swipe at them and they have a good chance of flying up and out of the car. Keep swinging at them until the light turns green and then your free.

On the other spectrum, if you don't have a convertible, pray that you can roll your windows up before any gets inside because driving off won't do the trick as the bugs stay in your car.
