Unhappy Sweet smell of vtec

so i get this smell after driving my car to red line a couple times, a burning smell. i don't believe its breaks or anything like that and its very faint i can only smell it for about 10 seconds or so when stopped. i normally notice it when i get home and get out of the car to walk in the house. also my car burns hardly any oil... anyone else get this?? something to worry about?

true... but how can i be sure? its just like a mild burning doesn't seem like that horrible clutch smell everyone is always talking about... but you could be right... is there any way to be sure? or am i driving wrong... perhaps need a new clutch?

edit: id like to mention i don't believe iv ever smelled the clutch burning before so i would have no clue lol

How long have you been driving a manual?

I let my ex-gf drive my S yesterday and she burned the hell out of my clutch (I'm getting a new one put in with my current turbo install so I didn't care) because it was her first time.

It was, I only let her as I dropped my car off at my turbo installer later that night and a new one is going in anyway. There's no way a newb is going to drive on the new one
