i am finding it a pain to change the oil every 3 months- it was suggested that i go synthetic for this reason. (by the way, how often does synthetic need to be changed?)-
i have about 11k miles on the car and it is 2.5 years old... so it most likely very broken in by now!
thoughts?
thanks!

Back to your topic. Since mine is a daily driver, I've average about 2500 miles per month. I usually change my Royal Purple Synthetic 5W-30 oil every 6 weeks or 3500 miles. I drive fairly aggressively, track it occasionally, and have driven at high speeds for extended periods of time(S2k Days 01). I believe this oil change routine, which I've done from the beginning, has provided me with a trouble free engine so far. I hope that I get another 100k enjoyable miles.
BTW, I switched over to synthetic on my 3rd oil change when I reached 12k miles. That was way back when...
Royal Purple carries products very similiar to the Redline Oil products.
Royal Purple's website is http://www.synerlec.com/
