In So. Cal. there should be plenty of great shops. Contact a few of the car clubs in the area. The club wouldn't necessarly have to be dedicated to Honda.

Hmm I've heard good and bad about them.

There are plenty of good places in So Cal I'm sure. Honda will use whatever shop their chain has, and likely won't be as good as a independent shop.

I'm sure if you post around on here and in the ITR forum of honda tech (I know at least a few people there in SoCal have had body work/resprays/etc done) you'll find a good shop to go to.

"SoCal" has a HUGE contingency of S2000 owners. I'm sure a few of them have had the need for such services. Why don't you post there and ask them?

Most dealerships sub contract body work. I would stay away from the tuner car body shops. Look for a shop which caters to high end cars like BMW and Mercedes. They tend to do better work and use higher quality materials.

When I brought my car to Honda they dented it and subcontracting to fix it..... You should bring your car to HOnda for an oil change and see if they will hook up the subcontracting for you. You should see the prices!!!! 20 an hour? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA amazing, everybody sleeps with everybody.
