Measured my dual Tanabe Racing Med with my digital meter just a few seconds ago while idling. From five feet away, it's 94db, 10-feet at 89db's. Inside the car at idle, 87db's. Then again, I'm still warming up at 2 bars so it should all quiet down somewhat. At WOT, it should be interesting. I'll report back later. IOW, not the best exhaust for the timid.

I took my car to the track at the late night drags event and they have a 98db limit. I got kicked off after my first run with my tanabe. Definatley not for people who like it quiet!

Once the car got warmed up, it was 84db's at idle inside the car and in 4th gear doing 4500 rpm's, the meter was registering 94db's. At WOT, just after VTEC cam action, it climbed to 101db's. Mind-numbing I must admit, but addictive. It's a loud message, but a message nonetheless. If I wanted a Lexus, I would have bought one.
