Default TE-37's hubcentricness (or lack of)...questions

hey TE37 owners... my fronts appear to be hubcentric, but the rears appear to have the same sized hole and are not hubcentric...

Just wanted any others to confirm that their rear wheels are NOT hubcentric... you can just look in (due to no center caps) and see that there is a gap.

thanks...

Scot

next question - what are the long term effects of non-hubcentric rear wheels???

From my understanding none of the wheels are hubcentric, thus the need for the hub rings for the fronts and backs. I have these black hub rings on mine.

You can get these hub rings at the local wheel shop. They just try on different rings until one fits. They're these black plastic or nylon looking rings that I'm sure you can get for free or very cheap.

I very much recommend the rings. The S2K ride quality increased dramatically after I put the rings on the Spoon wheels. Most of the wheel shops around here do not carry the rings and tended to play down their significance. I finally went to a ring distributor/manufacturer and got it right.

Mingster, Do you still have the catalog I gave you from them? I forget the name right now. Premiere Wheel accessories in Westminster, perhaps?

Try a distributor of TE37s or Options Auto Salon on the net. They're a distributor of Volks.
