How about "Metamucil Burner?"

As in: "Check out that Metamucil burner with the big ass Depends sticker on the windshield. I'll bet the Rascal hanging off the trunk is pushing 200 Amps!"

My apologies to any old, feeble, or incontinent members that I may have offended with the above comments.

In the 70's, my generation referred to Caddies and Lincolns with fake convertible tops, tv antennas, big white walls, continental kits, gold emblems, bowling trophy lighted hood ornaments, too much chrome, loud stereos, furry dash boards, etc., as "pimped out" or "pimpmobiles".

Hmm. I dont think Ricer, riceboy, or rice burner are "young" terms. I learned them from my dad when I got my S2000

Never viewed it as a racial comment and still don't. It's amazing to me what some people get all worked up about, but yet still allow other things go by. Can anyone explain to me why we have a Latin Grammy's Award show? Shouldn't every race have their own award show then?

Speaking of "ricer." How does everyone feel about the "F1" type wings for the S2000.

I think they look rather ridiculous, but on the S2000, with the right body kits, it actually looks kinda cool.

Still not sure if I would do it though.

Since I started this thread, I want to be sure that I contribute a major thought or two to it at this point. All of us on this forum are tied together by interest in a specific motor vehicle. The S2000 is extremely unprejudiced itself, and can tell nothing about the ethnicity and skin color [and gender, for that matter] of the person whose hands are on its controls. It rewards those persons with its great performance quite impartially, and occasionally punishes them with its defects and quirks, also quite impartially. I sincerely hope that is well understood when any of us uses the r-words around here in the future.
Having said the above, however, I do think that the visit to http://www,riceboypage.com to view the Hall of Shame exhibits is a worthwhile prelude [oops, pardon the Honda-related pun] to the undertaking of any mods on our beloved S2000's. It will keep us away from the hilarious excesses displayed there. But, I do have one lingering question, having laughed at pictures of 90 hp Civics with dual exhausts on their in-line 4 cylinder engines. Does the S2000 really need its dual exhausts? Gotta crawl under the car and check again, but I do not think that the dual pipes are separate all the way from engine to tail.

You could use this "That caddy is all jerried out" As in the geriatric crowd's rides.

Sorry. I crawled underneath my S2000. There is a large canister amidships, either a silencer or catalytic converter. A single pipe goes into it, and also comes out of it. The pipe then splits in two, one branch going to a large tin can and chrome tip on the left, and the other to an identical large tin can and chrome tip on the right. That is not exactly a true dual exhaust. About a decade ago, I had a Taurus SHO, with a high performance V6 engine. It had a similar pseudo-dual exhaust arrangement.
While I would never compare the S2000 with a 'riced out' Civic, I must confess I was more than a bit disappointed to observe that the dual exhausts are not completely authentic. Makes me wonder if Honda missed the opportunity to save a little weight by using a simpler exhaust system.
