Get the Megan;resonator is no big deal,it's a straight pipe, and has threaded nipple for the O2 sensor.
All you need,is a set of anti-foulers,on the O2 sensor, and no CEL on.
$98.00 from Import Tuning,Gary.Love mine.!!!

Spark Plug Fouler Trick
3 cars here in Hampton Roads are running it - not a single one of us have thrown a CEL

Ohh - just for answering purposes. All three of us are using a JIC Test Pipe. A bit more expensive, but happy with it !

You need the 18mm piece. Go to your local Autozone, Pepboys, Advanced Auto Parts - whatever you have in your area and ask them to point you to the "HELP PRODUCTS" isle. Just look for the 18mm Spark Plug Foulers!
Then install is rather simple.

However, the o2 sensor wire does have some clips holding it in place. All I did was remove the clips so that way I can twist it counter-clockwise. That way when i twist the o2 sensor & spark plug fouler clockwise into the test pipe the wire is straight and not twisted up.

if that makes sense

I didn't have to use a new one when I installed my Spoon test pipe...the original one was in good condition, and didn't leak when the pipe was in place...

Now, one last thing... About the smell. How bad is it and most importantly, is this something a cop would recognise right away as a missing cat?

As far as a police officer recognizing it - I am not sure. However you can definitely smell it.
