Default Thanks guys for the advice

Yesterday I posted a thread about how I was very disappointed with the steering feel or lack thereof.

A couple of people recommended that I bump the front tire pressure up to 35psi from 32psi.

Well, it's amazing how much that 10% difference can make. The car is much better undoubtedly. I am much happier with the car now than when I was 2 days ago, and look forward to VTECing it for the first time.

Again, thanks to all those taking the time to listen - much appreciated.

I have actually been doing this all night while driving -->

I agree!!!!

Just think how the dealers would be treating us if we didn't have all this info.

The S2K community is the best!

That explains it for me. I couldn't relate to your story and didn't want to sound negative, so I didn't say anything. I have been running 35 psi in my tires almost since day one and I could assuredly feel the road.

Good job,
Bob

The S2000 seems to be very sensitive to tire pressures, compared to other cars.

I do agree with your original assesment that the steering feel is somewhat lacking, but I think that the steering itself is very good. There is no play in the wheel, the ratio is very quick, and turn in is excellent.

Have fun in VTEC!

Ted
