Default Thanks Honda!!!

Well, I am very embarrassed by this, but hey, I am going to share this with you guys anyway. I have to thank Honda for thinking ahead. Yesterday, I was showing of my car to a buddy at work. Since he liked it so much, I decided to take him on a quick spin.
I don't know how I missed that my temp. was not up yet, but I tried to "VTEC" (rev above 6000 rpm).
To my surprise at 6200 rpm or so my engine throttled down aggressively! Then I notice the temp, shit one bar only. I could not believe I was that stupid. I waited until I had three bars and all was good again!
I showed him what this car was all about.
But, thanks for Honda thinking about idiots like me, totally spacing it, and not paying attention. The funny thing is, that I baby it so much, that I still can not believe that I did that.
Cheers

No mater what the temperature gage says never accelerate hard or rev an engine high until it has had enough time for the oil to be evenly distributed throughout the engine. Plus your transmission and drive train should be given time to warm up before being stressed. )
