Default Theft Protection Question

Sup,
Had a quick question about something i keep reading. I finally got my OEM hardtop and am in love with the car now. But i keep reading that best protection is a great alarm and a hardtop. I have a great alarm but, what is so protective about the hardtop i mean yea they cant cut through it. I would imagine they can still get in regardless pretty easy dont ya think? Just wondering what you guys though thanx peace

Any good thief can get any car they want. But if its harder to steal a car, they won't waste their time and go down the street to break into something easier.

The more anti-theft stuff you have, the less likely they'll try to break in, but that doesn't guarantee that they won't break in at all.

If you have enough anti-theft stuff it just means they will tow it if they really want your car. I have an alarm and HT and also have an aftermarket steering wheel with quick release and take the wheel off the car when I park it

I know if they take my car to advize the cops its on a tow truck

I haven't heard of it, but it wouldn't be any harder to do the windows are easily accessible with either ST or HT. I think it just looks more inviting to theives when its a Soft top
