Default Is there an all leather knob?

anyone know if there is an all leather knob that fits the S?

i have the stock knob with the aluminum top.

i've searched around, but almost everyone is going aluminum or titanium, which is too hot or too cold for me.

used to have a 330Ci with a zhp knob and it was perfect

If you get the ap1 knob its mostly leather or rather mostly leather wrapped. When its to hot or cold you can just touch that part and not touch the metal at all?

It seems like you may already have that knob though..

Take a look at Joe Portas' site: http://www.knobmeister.com/ He's known as the "Knobmeister" and has been making great wood shift knobs for years for the Miata and other communities. A friend of "Voodoo Bob" he also is the prime contact for having custom engraving done to Voodoo knobs. I just got a mahogany number from him with a gold 6 speed shift pattern for my S2K. Love it!

Thanks for all the tips.

Yes, I currently have the OEM knob, and it is mostly leather but has the aluminum top.

I guess I'm really not happy with the shape of the S knob either. It's taking me a while to forget about my BMW shift knob, that had much better ergonomics.
