Default Is there any way to get rub marks out of soft top?

Ive got rub marks that are darker than the soft top and i was wondering if there was any way to get them out without replacing the whole thing. I think its from improperly closing when i put the top down when the elastic doesnt retract. Anyone else have this problem?

try using a convertible top vinyl cleaner such as raggtop or 303 with a soft brush. be sure not to scrub too hard or you may scrub through the top.

After washing and blot-drying, I used a vinyl cleaner from Armor All and it made the whole top look darker (looks newer). The rub marks became less distinct so overall, it helped. The only thing is that when you put the top down, some of the cleaner will get to the rear window and will need to be wiped off from time to time.

I also keep the top up when the car is idle to prevent marks left by creases.
