Cleaning and Protecting the Underside of Soft Top
Hello all,
I've read a lot on how to clean and condition the Top of our Soft Tops. What can you use or what have/how do you clean, condition and protect the Underside or the inside of the Soft Top? I already use Raggtop and a horse hair brush on the soft top. But what is recommended to clean the Underside of the Soft Top? Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

The issue with cleaning the inside of the top is that any cleaner residue needs to be rinsed out completely to prevent that gray, dry look. I haven't figured out how to do that yet without spraying a hose in my car.
The best way I've found to remove dirt in there is by using a vacuum cleaner. You could probably use a damp sponge as well but I'd wouldn't use any cleaner. The best way to keep the inside of the top clean is to use the tourneau cover.
Thanks Langelo & 2Kaputnik I really appreciate the posts. I have read some people using 303 diluted to a 1 to 2 ratio, but I wanted to see if it's going to work with spraying something on the inside of the soft top. Thanks again!
Right after I wipe the top of the top with Raggtopp and the (Costco) microfiber towel is still damp with RT, I wipe the inside of the top. It takes a little time to get behind the tubs and such but I get the dust off and a light coating of RT is applied. I even wipe down the tray in the back. (I lift up the piece of 3M Thinsulate NVH insulation that is lying on it)
If I need a little more RT, I just spray it on directly or on the towel; usually the towel.

Thanks cosmomiller! I assume the RT you use is the cleaner? I'm sure it's a stupid question, but I just want to make sure. Is there any chance you can post a picture of the piece of 3M Thinsulate NVH insulation? I think I know what you're talking about but I just want to make sure. Again, thanks for all your help!
