I garage it 24/7. I am getting seat locks. I got club, autolock, killswitch, the works.

Honda usually sends out letters if there is an actual recall. You can always call a Honda dealership to be sure.

I'm with everyone else on this... sounds like a major scam.

now that he sold it to you, any theft or damage is under your insurance, even if it is on his lot. He could make a pretty penny parting out the interior on your insurance company's dime. Your instincts are very good, stay away from there. Any Honda dealer could correct an issue without needing you to leave the car overnight. Stay far away from this guy and don't let him know where you live if at all possible.
