Are these lights in 'perfect condition'?(resolved)
looks to me like someone tried to wet sand them and didn't know what they were doing. I bet 90% of those scratches will come out with a wet sand and buff.. I guess you could do that if the seller won't work with you. Yeah, the seller did you wrong, those aren't perfect and those kind of scratches don't come from shipping unless he wrapped them in sandpaper. But when buying online, make sure you get quality close-up pictures of the lights and see what you're buying before you buy it...

If he said they were in "perfect condition" that is a total lie! Sorry for your loss, that being said why is he selling his stuff, did he sell his S? If so, he may not care that you put his name out and it may be hard for you to get your money back. At some point you need to determine if your time trying to get some comp from the seller is worth the effort. You could try to sell the lens as is to recuperate some of your losses.

So if the lights arrived in the condition you told me is because they were abused during shipping and I cannot take responsibility of that.
You are entitled to a full refund and he can file a claim with the shipper to get his money back for damaging his shipment if you paid via PayPal.

This has been happening more frequently lately. I've seen other forums have a feedback system that is part of the member's avatar. That would help warn others when buying from a bad seller. And we won't have to search through multiple pages of good/bad feedback threads.
Hope everything works out for you.
