I think your approach dealing with this was very mature and understandable. Not only are you trying to right a wrong, you're also helping other sellers know that they should be more accurate and truthful on their items.

This has been happening more frequently lately. I've seen other forums have a feedback system that is part of the member's avatar. That would help warn others when buying from a bad seller. And we won't have to search through multiple pages of good/bad feedback threads.

Hope everything works out for you.
I love the feedback option on my350z.com

Definitely not in "perfect condition" as he stated. You can keep trying to resolve this with him but it seems like he is a shady person. Put his name out already so we all know who he is. Anyways, good luck.

Yes the scratches can be removed but some of the other blemishes not so easily. Also the price he paid is completely irrelevant to the condition the seller said they were in. The seller sought him out and offered to sell his "perfect" tails for 100$. Just because he got them cheap doesn't mean they should in any shape but the shape the seller said they were in. What he agreed on was perfect lights not the shit that is in those pictures. He got screwed and the items were misrepresented. Definitely let us know who it was if they don't fix the issue. Good luck

Thanks for all the opinion guys. The seller and I settled this transaction... I think both of us learned a valuable lesson and will be more cautious on buying, selling and properly packing/shipping stuff.

That said, there is no need to post the user's screen name... it's all good now!

While they are far from perfect, they can easily be made perfect with a buffing wheel and some polish.
