Why not just tell the cops these guys assaulted you (in a way, they did.) and then maybe they'd take the prints.

The insurance should cover them at list price... Minus your deductible - hopefully, you'll be able to find a set with the difference.

Hey guys, I really appreciate the outpour of support! Thanks so much -- s2ki.com is simply AWESOME!!

As for wheel locks, those were my first recourse as well. But, the store that I get my wheels and tires from told me that they really aren't worth the money...they say that it is pretty easy to get through them, and if the thieves fail, your wheels will be scratched up anyways that you'll want a new set regardless...

I've opened a claim with my insurance company and there seems to be no problems...they'll get another set of stock rims from Honda and the Pirelli 210's from the tire shop. I've also told them that I'm gonna get the car checked out at a body shop for any damage to the side panel (where they jacked the car up) and the passenger side rear brake disk (the car was settling on that piece). If all goes well, I'll be back to my winter setup sometime next week...

Anyways, thanks again for all the support, and I'm really hoping that these fools get caught!!!

Sorry to hear that!
Keep a monitor on Ebay and see if stock S2000 wheels with winter tires goes on sale!

On wheel locks, I bought a used GSR years ago and the wheels had locks that I did not have a key for. A local tire shop charged me all of $40 to bust 'em off. Couldn't have been too hard, eh?

The S2000 front wheels don't work well on any Honda even though the lug nut pattern fits. The center bore is too large and the wheel will not be hubcentric and dangerous. The exception here is the NSX. The S2000 front wheel fits on the NSX front.

The S2000 rears will fit (lug pattern and center bore on some 5 lug Hondas - Prelude, RSX (though not with a stock S02), etc) but not all because the 65mm offset will not clear some suspensions.

If you stand on Robson long enough, the whole of Vancouver will pass by you. Unless they're selling those rims on ebay, there's a good chance you'll see them on some punk's ricemobile. If you're lucky, you might find a cop who'll pull those a$$holes over to check it out. Good luck, Shamu.
