Hi,

I plan on looking at a 2000 S2000 for sale and wanted to know if there are anythings in particular I should take a look at. The car itself has 99,xxx miles. What type of maintenance should the car have gotten by now? i.e. water pump, timing chain?

It's also a hardtop, which I'm assuming is a plus from a value standpoint, correct?

hardtop is a plus.
If they dont have the service papers in a file to show you,
run a Carfax.
