Techncally, nitrous is forced induction. It is forcing more oxygen into the system.

The 4.44's are a ring and pinion gear that goes in your differential. I believe it gives the engine a mechanical advantage over the diff, or something like that. Anyway, it helps your car accelerate quicker, but your top speed will be lower. It like gears on a bike, if you switch to a higher gear, it makes it easier to pedal.

4.44 means te driveshaft rotates 4.44 times for every 1 time the wheel turns this gives better off the line exel. but wont kill your top speed think of old muscle cars they usually run 4.56 or 5.13
gears and with all that power lift the front wheels of the ground

i'm not saying with these gears your going to pull the wheels off
but that would be pretty cool

I'd disagree. Turbos and superchargers increase the intake manifold pressure. They 'force' more air into the engine. Nitrous sneaks more oxygen in (in the form of N20). FI heats the charge (hence the use of intercoolers) but Nitrous actually cools the charge. FI is continuous, Nitrous finite (you only have a finite number of shots in a bottle).

I can see the cross over but I think if you are talking to someone who knows what they are talking about and ask for examples of FI Nitrous won't be one of them.
