The G is my first stick and yes I do think about the clutch lol not always but it's just in the back of my mind specially on hard launches from the dig and 1st to 2nd. I am still learning I would say and from what I read the S2000 is hands down the best manual trany car ever made from factory, so that is a big plus to me. I am going to take driving classes at a local track because I know the best mod is the driver mod just didn't want to spend the money now if I think I might trade it in for a S2000.

Thank you for the feedbacks guys keep them coming!!!!!!

If this is your DD car you will be better off with AP2 and 06+ for better mod.

^what "great things" have you heard about it? that it's the only ap2 u can buy without a VSA? it doesn't have the drive by wire?

i haven't driven an 06+ hard enough to feel the vsa or felt the difference with the dbw but i'd take an 06+ over my 04. i think 04-05's are more of an ap1.5 if that makes sense...has some ap1 properties mixed with ap2 properties...but try to go for the newest model you can afford.

lastly what i meant by the price being skeptical from the dealer is, at least in nyc most dealers would be charging at least 20k for an 06. but i guess it's winter and prices differ in different areas..just check it out very carefully.

Thank you very much that helps and yes those are the 2 things I heard about the 04-05s someone told me that the VSA is annoying and you cannot turn it off fully is that true???? And I think I will be taking your advice and going with a 06+ because they are almost the same price as any other ap2 for the mileage. I'm trying to find one under 17K so when I return my G my payments would be almost the same or a little less then what I'm paying now. However, I still need to go take a test drive to see how I feel inside the car. But something tells me that my love for the S2000 since the first time I saw it and the fast and the furious S2K the black one just got me to love this car so much that I don't think I would mind feeling a little crunched in.

I did my research and I came to a conclusion that I will start with these mods as soon as I get the car. I know some of you guys are going to tell me don't touch the car feel it and see what is up but I am a mod freak and I hate driving a stock car. Here are some of the things I will be getting.

Berk TP or HFC 70mm still thinking maybe you guys could help me on that.
Greddy Ti-C Single
Buddy Club N+ Suspension
Rotora Front Cross-Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors
EBC Greenstuff Street Sport Front Brake Pads
Agency Power Brake Lines Front
And I was thinking of getting a few clutch and Flywheel but don't know what to get maybe you guys could help me with that. This car would be my DD and my track toy. I will be getting a set of 16's or 17's with some sticky tires on the side for track days.

Thank you all for all the help great to be a part of these forums

A bonus to the 06+ is you can use hondata flashpro. If youre doing bolt-on mods the best bang for the buck would be the flashpro, and it also gets rid of the pesky CEL that comes when 06+ use a testpipe.
Stock clutch will be plenty fine for what you plan to do and should easily last if you know how to drive correctly, there is some s2ks with well over 100k on the stock clutch. Even the stock s2000 braking setup is very good and even stock pads are not too shabby on the track.
VSA doesnt bother me, i just turn if off when im driving hard and has kept me stable when its on in some icy/wet conditions.
Hopefully this helped out a bit, and if you decide to purchase and s2k I hope ya enjoy it, I smile every day getting into mine.

Thanks bro I was looking at flashpro just now and I should add that on the top of my list I think. I might go with a CT SC later on next year after taxes but for now I think I will stick to my list and I'll keep looking for a s2000 I really want a white one but can't find a decent one yet. If not I will probably go with a yellow or black. I don't know about the yellow yet because of my driving I think it will be a cop magnet lol but I'm still thinking thanks for the help. One question the VSA when you turn it off is it like Mercedes? it doesn't go off all the way or it just turns off totally??

Leave the brakes alone. Stock rotors and pads are fine for street use. Anything else would be a huge waste of money.
Most of the track guys use stock rotors.
